LNA connects you with fellow professionals for personal and business growth.
Lincoln Networking Association is a referral network for Lincoln, Nebraska business professionals, with one seat per profession. We get together once a week to share referrals, testimonials, and what we’re learning in business. Every meeting teaches you something, a little of it from the front of the room and most of it from the people around the table.
We meet on Tuesday afternoons and look for business for each other the rest of the week.
Come for the referrals; stay for the relationships.
One seat per profession gives every member the strongest possible position in the group.
You are the only one in your profession, so every referral for what you do comes to you.
Members get to know your work well enough to send you their own clients.
You are the group’s go‑to for your industry, the one members think of when someone needs what you do.
A seat that is yours alone is worth showing up for and worth working for.
We’re independent and member‑run, with a good mix of professions and trades. Every member gets a vote, and the dues stay in Lincoln.

Business cards and a 60‑second answer to one question: What referral would grow your business?
Meetings follow this general shape. We mix it up now and then to keep things fresh.
- Open networking. Arrive, get a drink, mingle.
- Leadership team introductions, and we say our core values out loud.
- Visitors and substitutes are introduced.
- Member moment. Each member gets 60 seconds: who they are and what a good referral looks like for them this week.
- Visitor time. You get the same 60 seconds.
- Educational moment. A few minutes on running a business or getting more out of networking.
- Featured speaker. One member gives a 10‑minute presentation on their business and we hear who’s up next.
- Givers Grow. Members acknowledge each other for a referral, a testimonial or positive interaction, or a one‑to‑one.
- Treasurer’s report, membership announcements, and swearing in of new members.
- Performance report. How we’re doing against the six things we track: referrals, revenue, one‑to‑ones, visitors, attendance, and education.
- Announcements, and a few inspirational words to close.
We’re an association. Every member gets a vote, especially on money, so at every meeting you hear what’s in the bank and what we’re spending it on. Not every group does that.
Each year, we set goals in six areas, and the vice president reports on them at every meeting.
Contact information for someone who needs what a fellow member does.
Business closed from referrals, reported by members who received it.
30 to 60 minutes with other members, learning about each other’s businesses and what makes a good referral.
People you bring to a meeting who might belong in an open seat.
You, or a prepared substitute, at the meeting.
Anything you do to get better at your work or your business. We call them education member units, or EMUs. The rest of the world calls them CEUs.
Our core values are A GIFT.
We are responsible for our actions and our outcomes.
We are invested in lifelong learning, personal and professional.
We are honest and loyal to each other, and our words and deeds match up.
We are able to laugh at ourselves and enjoy each other.
We are one team, and the whole membership pulls together.
You’re welcome to visit twice, free and clear.
Check the roster first. When your profession overlaps with a current member’s, come as a guest and talk with that member before the meeting regarding what you can say about your business, if anything. Don’t see your profession on the roster? Ask us about the seat.
After two visits, we’ll ask you to decide whether you want a seat. From there:
- Apply. A short online form, which asks for three references, along with the $500 first‑year fee.
- Attend three consecutive meetings. Your two visits count if they were back to back.
- Sit down for two one‑to‑ones, one with a leadership team member and one with a regular member.
- Once approved, attend Tuesday Network Training, our required two‑hour training session in getting the most out of your seat.
Renewals are $400 a year, and everyone chips in $25 a month to cover food at the weekly meetings and our social events.
